Each day all students and staff will be participating in different activities throughout the week. 

Join us for a fun afternoon, dance and song! Watch as staff and students show off their air band/lip sync skills.

A letter will be coming home to those students in gr 1 and gr 6 on the upcoming immunizations through AHS.

Dear Parents,

Our grades PreK-2 students are eagerly looking forward to the field trip to the St. Albert Children’s Festival on Thursday, May 30, 2024. We will depart from the school at 6:30 a.m., so we encourage you to arrive by 6:15 a.m. Students and volunteers must pack a bagged lunch with juice/water/snacks for the day. Also, please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the event.

If you wish to volunteer, your presence would be greatly appreciated and contribute to the smooth running of the trip. All volunteers will need to drive.  A criminal record check is required of all volunteers before volunteering in Division school field trips and may be obtained without cost when a letter accompanies the request (please ask for this at the office).  When requesting a criminal record check from the RCMP, please check box for “Vulnerable Sector Check” as well.  We need to be at the festival by 9:30 a.m., so everyone must arrive on time. If you wish to bring siblings, please Call the St. Albert Children’s Festival for tickets to see performances and activities.

Please note that if you bring siblings, you may not be in the same performance we picked for your child to enjoy.  Students will be supervised and put into groups throughout the day, 5 parents per class ratio.

Our return journey will begin from St. Albert at 3:00 p.m. We'll make a quick stop at McDonald’s for dinner and back on the bus by 4:30 p.m. We anticipate arriving back at Charlotte Small School around 7:00 p.m. Rest assured, we have taken all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of your child throughout the trip. 

There is no additional cost for the festival. The Parent Council has generously paid for two coach buses. We want to ensure that all our students have the opportunity to participate in this enriching experience. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
