Charlotte Small Elementary School READ-A-THON

Charlotte Small Elementary School Read-A-Thon
10 Days of Reading to Raise $$ For our School!
April 14th - April 23rd
What’s a Read-A-Thon?
Reading is a fantastic way to learn and has many wonderful benefits for your child. We are combining a great learning tool with a fundraiser to raise money for our children’s school. It’s a Win-Win! This fundraiser keeps 100% of all money collected. Fundraising dollars go directly back to Charlotte Small and help support all the fun stuff for our students. This year alone, fundraising dollars helped pay for swimming for ALL grades! It has also paid for extra curricular programming, Coach bussing for Ski trip/Field trips, Gr. 6 Evergreen trip and so much more!
How does it work?
Each grade is challenged to read a recommended amount of reading minutes per day. Students can participate at their own grade level, whether they read to themselves or have a book read to them. Students will then gather pledges from friends and family for their awesome reading efforts! Prizes will be awarded for Students and Classes that reach their reading goals!!
Your child will be sent home with a Reading Minutes Tracking sheet for easy daily recording and a Donation Tracking sheet and envelope for pledges and donations. Please complete your donation tracking sheet for each pledge you collect. Please use the provided READ-A-THON envelope to collect and return donations to the school. Please click on the link below for a copy of the reading minutes tracking sheet and the donation sheet if you need additional copies.
Fundraiser runs April 14th - April 23rd
Donation tracking sheet, Money envelope and Reading tracking sheet can be returned to your child’s homeroom teacher on Thursday April 24th
